The Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 1972 and revised in 1974, and rewritten in 2001 serves as a general guide to township officials in providing for the future development of the township. This plan is currently being updated. The plan takes into account the geography, population and economic growth patterns of the area, existing land use and transportation facilities with an eye to regional as well as township development.
The Planning Commission meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM. A work session, if needed, is held on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 PM.
