On behalf of the Board of Supervisors and staff at the Township, we wanted to take a moment to provide an update on the Township response to COVID-19 and to address what the “Stay at Home” Order issued by the Governor means for the operations of the Township.
First and foremost, the health, safety and welfare of the residents is a top priority and will remain a top priority. Police officers, as well as fire and EMS personnel, will continue to respond to calls as normal while taking every precaution to protect themselves and the public.
Sewer and Trash services will continue without any interruptions, the only change is that bulk pick-up will stop until further notice. The Township is doing its part to slow the spread of COVID-19; and, as such, the Township Building is closed to the public. We will respond to all calls and emails.
The parks in the Township are open for passive use; however, all playgrounds and basketball courts are closed until further notice.
We encourage all residents to practice safe, responsible social distancing. We understand that these are difficult times, and we ask for your patience and cooperation.
We are working to ensure as minimal disruption as possible, as we all hope to get back to our everyday lives as soon as we can.
The Township will be providing weekly updates and, if warranted, immediate notification as events unfold.
Thank you and stay safe.
Jim Oram, Chairman, Board of Supervisors
Dan Fox, Township Manager
