Chester County Overdose Prevention Task Force Naloxone Day

In conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s “Stop Overdoses in PA: Get Help Now” campaign, the Chester County Overdose Prevention Task Force made up of representatives from the Chester County Health Department, Chester County Department of Drug & Alcohol Services, and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, is hosting a free Naloxone Day on Thursday, December 13 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Naloxone will be available at no cost for the general public who cannot or do not wish to get naloxone from their pharmacy, those who feel they can benefit from having a dose of naloxone on hand, those who may have a substance use disorder, and/or those who may encounter someone in crisis. The goal of the event is to increase awareness of and access to the lifesaving medication naloxone.

· Chester County Government Services Center - 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA 19380, Room 171

· Chester County Public Safety Training Campus - 137 Modena Road, Coatesville, PA 19320

Please note that distribution is on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. One naloxone kit per recipient.
