The existing solid waste and recycling contract expires on June 30, 2010.  Although the Township retains an option to extend the existing contract, the Board of Supervisors has asked staff to re-bid the contract and provide additional options.  The existing contract requires the Board to notify the hauler no later that March 30, 2010 with regard to the extension.

In light of the March 30 deadline, the Board received the attached presentation from staff during the worksession on March 1, 2010.  No action was taken.  Staff will provide additional information and details to the Board at the public worksession and meeting on March 15, 2010. The public worksession begins at 7:15 PM and the business meeting begins at 8:00 PM.
