BRUSH BURNING

The Township designates specific weeks during which brush may be burned: February 1 through March 14; May 1 through May 31; and September 15 through October 16.  You must obtain a permit from the Township to be able to burn.  Burning is for brush only; absolutely no leaves. 

If the burning creates a smoke nuisance in your neighborhood, fines could be imposed.  Nuisance Regulations are available at the Township office.  You must call the Township at 610-687-3000 on the day you plan to burn to see if there are any restrictions due to wind or drought for that particular day.
