SEASONAL YARD WASTE

WINTER:  The Township arranges for the collection of brush, holiday trees and trimmings at the beginning of January.  All decorations and wiring must be removed.  Plastic bags are not permitted.

SPRING: Collection of separated bundled brush and leaves will take place once in the spring and usually occurs between mid-April and May 15th.  Leaves MUST be in biodegradable paper bags.  There is no limit for the number of bags for each collection, however, there is a weight limit of 300 pounds per collection.

FALL: There will be three collections per household between October 1 and December 15.  Again, brush must be bundled and leaves must be placed in biodegradable paper bags.

As with normal trash service, all seasonal brush must be curbside by 6:00 A.M. on the day of pick-up.  Watch our website or check the Township newsletter for notices of exact dates of brush collection in your neighborhood.

All yard-waste materials are composted.  Finished compost is available each spring at Waynesborough barn.

2008 SPRING COLLECTION DATES

If your normal trash pick-up days are Monday and/or Thursday, spring collection for bundled brush and bagged leaves is on Wednesday, April 30th.  Rear-yard customers will also follow this schedule.

If your trash days are on Tuesday and/or Friday, spring collection is Thursday, May 1st for bundled brush and bagged leaves.
