**********************************A STATEMENT FROM OUR DEPARTMENT
JUNE 2, 2020
The Easttown Township Police Department finds the actions that occurred in Minneapolis to be unconscionable, and our officers and Police Department leaders are equally horrified by the events that led to the senseless death of Mr. George Floyd.
The members of the Easttown Police Department hold ourselves to the highest standards in Law Enforcement. We work hard each day to ensure that every individual we come in contact with is treated with professionalism, dignity, and the utmost respect regardless of a person’s race, creed, color, sexual orientation, gender expression, national orientation, or religion.
We take pride in serving the Easttown Community and wish to offer our sympathies to the Floyd family and the citizens of Minneapolis. It is our sincere hope that we can come together as a community to stop senseless violence of any nature and begin the healing process that our country so desperately needs. As always, we will be here for you when we are needed.
