All building inspection requirements are per the Uniform Construction Code, and are based on minimum standards to ensure public safety, health and welfare, as outlined in the various International Codes. These requirements include checking for structural soundness, adequate means of egress, proper sanitation, light, and ventilation, and safety from fire and other hazards. Specific inspections are conducted during different phases of construction or for existing buildings to verify compliance of these standards.

Monday, Wednesday, or Friday when the Township is open.
When can I schedule my inspection?
- Inspections must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance - there are NO same-day inspections.
- Inspections are scheduled on a first-come first served basis - there is no guarantee an appointment will be available
How can I schedule my inspection?
- Inspections are scheduled for a specific date and time.
(1) Make an inspection request using the Building Inspection Request Form, or
(2) Call the Township at 610-687-3000. - Have your permit number ready! It can be found at the top right hand corner of your approved permit. This ensures the inspection is credited to the appropriate permit.
