Background
The Easttown Township Parks and Recreation Board has proposed that the Township consider creating a recreational walking path on Township-owned land behind Spring Knoll Pumping Station.
Timeline
February 19, 2019: At its regularly scheduled meeting, the Parks and Recreation Board made a formal recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for consideration.
March 04, 2019: At a regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting, Staff shared the recommendation with the Supervisors. They reviewed the recommendation and directed Staff to create a report identifying any associated costs, construction schedules estimates, a process for soliciting public opinion.
April 01, 2019: At a regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting, Staff presented the requested report and announced that the Parks and Recreation Board will meet on Tuesday, April 16 at Hilltop House to hear public comment regarding its recommendation.
April 16, 2019: The Park and Recreation Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at Hilltop House at 7 pm to discuss this proposal and hear public comment.
May 2019: The Park and Recreation Board will meet on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 pm at Hilltop House to further hear comment regarding the proposed trail. Please click here for a map proposal.
