Commercial Requirements


The owners/occupants of any commercial, institutional or Township establishment are required - at their sole cost and expense - to contract for their own collection of solid waste and recycling.


The following materials must be separated from solid waste and collected:

  1. Corrugated paper;
  2. High-grade office paper;
  3. Mixed paper;
  4. Aluminum and aluminum containers;
  5. Steel or bi-metal containers;
  6. Clear and colored glass containers;
  7. Plastic containers marked 1 through 7; and
  8. Leaf waste.


Did you know?  Annual recycling reports must be submitted to the Township by February 1 of each year, listing the tonnage recycled during the previous calendar year.
