The Easttown Township proposed and preliminary budget for 2025 is now available for public review and inspection at the Easttown Township Building, 566 Beaumont Road, Devon, Pennsylvania during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
The proposed budget reflects new revenues in 2025 from the recently adopted earned income tax of one-half of one percent (0.5%); as to the real estate tax levy, the proposed budget shows a total 2025 draft real estate tax levy of 5.4 mills, which includes the following subcategories:
- 3.469 mills for general purposes
- 0.102 mills for parks and recreation
- 0.569 mills for library
- 0.554 mills for capital
- 0.706 mills for fire/EMS
If finally approved, this represents a 10% reduction in the total real estate tax levels compared to 2024. The Easttown Township Board of Supervisors plans to consider and act upon a final 2025 budget at its regularly scheduled public meeting on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 7 o’clock pm, prevailing time, at the Township Building. If any person who wishes to review the proposed budget has a disability and/or requires an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to review the document, they should contact Township Manager Don Curley at 610-687-3000 to discuss how those needs may be accommodated.
