GO WilMa! stands for "Get Outside Willistown and Malvern" and combines outdoor recreation, health and wellness, summer reading, and FUN! Explore the natural and historic features of the Greater Willistown and Malvern community.
REGISTRATION
Join in the Adventure! Sign-up is ongoing at Malvern, Paoli and Easttown Libraries throughout the summer.
Visit Easttown Library staff at the Go WilMa Kick-off Party on Tuesday, June 18th, 5:30-8:30 PM at Greentree Park in Malvern (rain date is Thursday, June 20). This free event features a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, balloon artists, caricature artists, and live music! Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
HOW DO I PLAY?
Our adventurerers follow clues to checkpoints, or Inspiration Stations (with etching plates), in parks, trails, historic and other special sites in and around Willistown Township, Malvern Borough and Easttown Township.
Find as many of the Stations as possible by following the clues in your Field Guide. Turn to your Stamp Collection pages to "stamp" your Field Guide. Use a crayon or side of a pencil to rub the etching at the top fo the post in the space provided. Submit your collection to Malvern, Paoli or Easttown Library--either as you go or when you have visited all the Stations you want to. To be entered into the raffle, submit your stamps no later than Saturday, August 17th.

RAFFLE DRAWINGS & GO WilMa! BADGE
Earn a raffle ticket for each Inspiration Station you visit. Visit six (6) Inspiration Stations to earn your GO WilMa! Outdoor Adventure Badge. The raffle drawing will take place at the Willistown Country Fair on August 20th (rain date August 22nd) at 5:00 PM at Greentree Park.
ADVENTURE SAFETY
Every outdoor activity, including scavenger hunting, has inherent risks and dangers. Here are some reminders as you adventure ouside this summer:
- Take a grown-up or guardian with you
- Follow all posted park rules
- Be respectful of the environment and others around you
- Wear sunscreen and bug repellent
- Bring plenty of water with you
- If it's really hot, bring extra water, walk slower, and take more breaks
- Spiders, insects, snakes or other critters may visit the same places where Stations are hidden. Be careful where you step and where you reach!
- Watch out for stinging nettle and poisonous plants
- Be careful around ponds, creeks, streams, and step carefully over or around fallen logs and branches, roots, rocks, and other things lying on the ground
